Hurricane Sandy victims pay tribute to victims of the Sandy Hook massacre one playground at a time

(PIX11)– One firefighters union is trying to help communities destroyed by hurricane sandy recover by remembering the victims of sandy hook

The New Jersey firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Association has started a charity called the “Sandy Ground Project”.

The goal is to create 26 playgrounds in memory of those killed at Sandy Hook.

Each of the parks will be located in Hurricane Sandy affected areas in the tri-state region.

Each playground will be unique and representative of each sandy hook victim.

The first groundbreaking will be the first weekend in March in Sea Bright, New Jersey.
