Cops believe teenage girl found dead in Queens may have overdosed on prescription drugs

QUEENS, NEW YORK (PIX11)- Police are trying to find out if the 15-year-old girl found dead in Queens might’ve overdosed on prescription drugs.

Cops say someone called 9-11 this morning, and reported seeing the body of Aeisha Aarooqui in the backyard of a home on 135th avenue in Rosedale.

There were no signs of trauma.

No one in the neighborhood knew her.

Investigators say Aeisha is from South Flushing, six miles away.

Residents speculate she may have been with the kids hanging out on the block last night.

    God this is awful , I can’t imagine im how horrifying this situation must he for the parents , wow parents listen up this is very real and tragic , talk to your kids . If u think they aren’t this type think again I pray for this family and rip my little girl . Sad

    Parents have to remember when they were kids, did you listen to your parents all the time. you have to be aware what is going on in the world today and don't ever think it won't happen to your children, because it can, rich or poor!
