The National Guard doesn’t often help deliver babies, but one bundle of joy in Massachusetts changed all that.

Ericka Beuno went into labor during the snowstorm, in the middle of a statewide travel ban early yesterday morning.

Between the steep hill to Beuno’s home and the snowy roads, paramedics couldn’t get to her.

Baby Nohely was in a hurry, so they called in the National Guard, who used snow plows and a Humvee to get the EMTs to the house – where they helped deliver the baby.
