Singer-rapper Chris Brown drove his black Porsche into a wall Saturday afternoon, and blamed it on the paparazzi when police arrived at the scene.

Brown told cops that a horde of photographers chasing him caused him to lose control of his car near the 600 block of Bedford Drive, according to a news release.

According to Brown, he did not have any passengers at the time of the accident.

The accident happened around noon, and no injuries were reported.  The damaged Porsche had to be towed from the scene.

This is just the most recent in a string of ugly incidents involving Brown, who recently was involved in a parking lot brawl with singer Frank Ocean.

While still on probation for beating his former girlfriend Rihanna, his recent reunion with her has also been a lightening rod for critics.

Prosecutors also recently accused Brown of faking the community service requirement for his probation.  As part of the ruling in connection with the 2009 beating of Rihanna, Brown was given 180 days of community service.

In a 19-page filing, prosecutors recently asked the court to reject his reported community service, citing “significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting.”
