A Brooklyn mother is dead, shot by her own brother.

Police say the woman, identified as 63-year-old Carol Lovell, was trying to evict her 70 year old brother from an apartment in Flatbush.

They got into an argument then that’s when cops say William Thurmond whipped out a gun.

He shot his sister in the chest — and his niece in the head.

The niece is in stable condition, but Lovell did  not make it.

Thurmond faces several charges including homicide.
