BRONX, NEW YORK (PIX11)–  “I hope you guys raise a lot of money. This school is a lifesaver.”

A group of wonderful PIX 11 Newscasters are singing and dancing and doing stand up comedy all for a wonderful cause, to raise money for a school for emotionally and behaviorally challenged preschoolers. It’s called the Lawrence F. Hickey Center for Child Development and it was co-founded by my late father.

For three years now, newscasters have performed to raise thousands to buy furniture, computers and to keep the music program going.

One parent, Monique Carpio, whose son Ken G attended the school for two years and is now mainstreamed in a regular kindergarten said: “I hope you guys raise a lot of money. Thank you PIX 11. This school is a lifesaver.”

If you’d like to buy tickets, the next fundraiser is Saturday, February 9th at 1 pm.

Just go to the website astorservices.org to purchase tickets.

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long)
so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
