NEW YORK (PIX11) – Mayor Bloomberg has lashed out once again against the teachers’ union.

The mayor called the recent proposal by the United Teachers Federation a “fraud and a hoax” to the public.

The city lost $450 million in state and federal funds after failing to reach a deal on teacher evaluations before the state deadline.

Governor Cuomo warned city kids could lose another $224 million next year if there’s no deal by September.
