There’s a battle brewing over a portrait of Jesus inside an Ohio middle school.

The image has been hanging in Jackson Middle School since 1947.

But the Freedom From Religion Foundation says the school is publicly endorsing Christianity over other faiths.

The group is urging the school to take the “necessary steps” to come into “compliance with the constitution” and take it down.

However, the superintendent argues the portrait was a gift from students, and therefore it should be allowed to stay.
