Former councilman headed to jail on corruption charges

A long-time Bronx politician is going to jail.

Former Councilman Larry Seabrook was sentenced Friday. He got five years on corruption charges.

Seabrook was accused of taking community project money and giving it to his girlfriend and family members.

The wrongdoing involved $2 million and went on from 2002 to 2009.
