Chris Christie delivers the State of New Jersey address Tuesday in Trenton.

(CNN) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said 41,000 families are still displaced from their homes as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

His remarks came in his annual “State of the State” address before a joint legislative session in Trenton.
