Brooklyn Nets player questioned in alleged sexual assault at Philadelphia hotel: reports

Brooklyn NetsA member of the Brooklyn Nets has been questioned in an alleged sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman that reportedly happened at a posh hotel in Philadelphia, sources tell PIX11 News.

According to reports, the team member, who has not been identified by authorities, was questioned and later released by police in the overnight incident at the Four Seasons Hotel in Center City.

The incident is said to have occurred about 4 a.m. No charges have been filed.

The Nets are playing the 76ers Tuesday night  in Philadelphia.

In addition to the unnamed player, two other men – a 41-year-old and a 25-year-old – were also taken into police custody and questioned.

“We are aware of the ongoing police investigation regarding a member of the Brooklyn Nets,” the team said in a statement, published in the New York Daily News. “We will have no further comment until the investigation has concluded. All of our players are available for tonight’s game.”
