Apparently there was a big BCS title game that happened Monday but if you read Tuesday’s headlines, it appears the real show happened in the stands.

Viewers who caught a glimpse of reigning Ms. Alabama, Katherine Webb, grew so distracted they forgot there was a game even happening.

Webb who is the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, became the center of attention for not only play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger who pointed her out during a crowd pan, but Twitter nearly exploded, chatting about the brunette bombshell.

One user tweeted,  “By far the best part of the #BCS game and my MVP is KatherineWebb! WOW! Roll Tide indeed! AJ is #blessed!”

Not so much of shocker: Ms. Alabama gained more than 100 thousand followers by the time the game was over, even trumping her star quarterback boyfriend’s Twitter following.

Just another day for a beauty queen.

Oh yea, and if you cared, Alabama crushed Notre Dame in the title game in a 41-14 yawner.
