New developments in the deadly Christmas Eve ambush on two firefighters in upstate Webster.

Investigators believe the gunman, William Spengler, may have set his childhood home on fire because his sister was planning to put it up for sale.

Spengler lived in the home with her, and was killed in the fire.

The two had been reportedly feuding since their mother died in October.

Spengler gunned down two firefighters before turning the gun on himself. He left a rambling suicide note with no clear motive for his actions.
