Port Authority gives Hoboken passengers a month of free PATH rides

In the wake of the storm, the Port Authority is handing out free rides on PATH trains as a show of appreciation.

Hoboken residents are getting a month’s worth of free PATH service added to their Smartlink cards.

The Hoboken station was closed for seven weeks after Superstorm Sandy and reopened last week.

The PATH is still operating with limited service due to ongoing repair work.
