Shoppers mob area stores for last-minute holiday shopping

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING RUSHNEW YORK (PIX11) -‘Tis the weekend before Christmas, and area stores are mobbed.
It’s now or never in terms of gift buying, and shoppers are looking for the best deals.
Stores aim to please, offering extended hours in hopes shoppers will be crowding the aisles nonstop.
As for the shoppers, they face long lines and lots of company.
Macys and Toys R Us are among some chains that are keeping some stores open 24 hours a day until Christmas Eve.
