A San Diego woman is selling “I Love Newtown” shirts to support her hometown.

Kerin Sovern grew up in Newtown. She said a group of her friends first created the t-shirts when they were seniors at the high school there.

She re-designed the shirts– in green for last week’s Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims.

Printing companies are donating materials so all the proceeds can go to the victim’s families.

Kerin has raised $5,000 so far.
