Maxi Priest to headline “Sounds of Reggae” concert at Barclays Center

PIX11’s Sukanya Krishnan got “real close” to reggae artist Maxi Priest.  The musician who has entertained reggae lovers for more than three decades had much to say about his upcoming show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Before he came to the show, he attended a press conference with Shaggy to talk about their performance. Our very own Tania On The Scene has the inside scoop.


Maxi Priest will take to the stage along with Shabba Ranks, Beres Hammond, Ali Campbell’s UB40.  It is all part of the BioLife Sounds of Reggae concert happening tomorrow on 12/12/12.

Not only is the date a momentous occasion, but 2012 is also 50 years of Jamaican independence.
