LIRR back to normal after weeks of Sandy woes

NEW YORK(PIX11) — Good news for LIRR riders… Monday’s rush hour will be back to a normal schedule for the first time since Hurricane Sandy. The trains will be back on track because Amtrak has replaced the signal system that suffered severe flood damage during the storm. LIRR officials say the system will be 100 percent operational.
