Remember Nathan Norman, the 6-year-old boy in Virginia who’s battling cancer?

New York first responders have made his wish come true. They drove down to meet him and to give him badges and shirts to add to his collection.

Then, Nathan did something truly remarkable: he donated boxes full of gifts to take back to New York to give to kids who will be spending the holidays in hospitals.

It’s a heartwarming gesture from a 6-year-old who may not survive past Christmas.
