Karen is also the creator and host of the new Travel Therapy TV segments and globally syndicated online video series where she travels around the world reporting on the most inspiring and empowering travel experiences featuring unique destinations, hotels, spas, restaurants and travel adventures.
Karen has more than 15-years of network and major market on-air TV experience. For its two-year run, Karen hosted ABC’s national travel show, Travel Now, and has worked as a TV correspondent on CNN and an anchor/reporter at NBC in Boston, FOX in Dallas and ABC in Phoenix.
Having traveled to more than 60 countries Karen is a sought after travel and lifestyle spokesperson, public speaker and TV expert having appeared live on Good Morning America, Today, Fox News Channel, Fox & Friends, ABC News Now, MSNBC’s Countdown, Daily Dish and Martha Stewart Living Radio.
In addition to her television work Karen’s publishing credits include The New Yorker, Boston Globe, Travel + Leisure, Town & Country, Islands Magazine, abcnews.com, New York Daily News, Delta Sky, US Airways Magazine, Hemispheres and Huffington Post.
Karen graduated from California State University Fullerton with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology. While currently based in New York City, Karen is constantly globetrotting around the world for her Travel Therapy segments and says her home now, “is wherever I put my suitcase.”
