I joined PIX11 as digital content manager in October 2012, overseeing the website, which we redesigned recently, and all our digital initiatives. I have a long history as a print, digital and television journalist in the New York market.
I’ve hosted a New York history show, “Hidden City,” on WNBC-TV’s New York Nonstop. I was also a multimedia editor at the New York Daily News, where I oversaw the America edition of the homepage in the evening. I’ve been a managing editor at amNewYork and an assistant city editor at Newsday.
I’m a gold-star certified NYC tour guide, and love to spend my time off simply walking around New York and finding new material for my personal history site, The Retrologist, my history blog that’s mainly focused on New York City but will travel wherever there’s a bit of cool history hiding in plain sight.
