Erica Pitzi

Erica Pitzi joined the PIX 11 News team as a freelance reporter in the summer of 2011.

A Brown University graduate, Erica comes to the Big Apple from the Sunshine State where she spent five years working at various television stations from Fort Myers to Tampa.

While in Florida, her investigative work earned her an Edward R. Murrow award along with several Associated Press awards.

Some call Erica a pit bull because she isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions – that includes your elected officials and community leaders who are supposed to be looking out for you.
