    THE BRONX – Police said a pedestrian was running across a Bronx street when he was struck and killed by an SUV early Monday morning. The NYPD said a man, 23, was crossing Bruckner Boulevard near E. 149th Street around 12:50 a.m.  when the vehicle hit him. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he later died.
