MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — A student was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the back at Mount Vernon High School Wednesday.
Mount Vernon police confirmed the stabbing happened at the high school at 100 California Road.
The student was taken to a hospital and treated for stab wounds to the back, Mount Vernon Mayor’s office said.
The student’s wounds are said to be non-life threatening.
