ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Funeral services have been held for a man shot to death last week at a mall in New Jersey.

Hundreds of mourners gathered Sunday at the All Wars Memorial Building in Atlantic City to honor Demond Cottman. The 21-year-old city man was shot multiple times early Friday outside the Macy’s store at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.

Cottman’s brother, 26-year-old Clayton resident Shadi Cottman, was shot in the leg. He was treated at a hospital, but further details on his condition have not been disclosed.

Authorities haven't identified any suspects or said what may have sparked the shooting.

Demond Cottman was a 2013 graduate of Atlantic City High School, where he was a standout football player and runner, and he recently became a father and was an electrical apprentice.
