Boyfriend wanted for questioning in fatal stabbing of Bronx woman

BAYCHESTER, The Bronx — Police released a photo of a man Sunday afternoon they'd like to speak with about the fatal stabbing of a Bronx woman.

Sophia Lamb, 44, was found Saturday afternoon with multiple stab wounds in her Baychester apartment on Baychester Avenue.

Police are now searching for Andre Curtis, 36, who lived in the apartment with Lamb and her parents.

Lamb's stepfather told PIX11 Curtis had recently been kicked out of the apartment.

"He started acting funny and treating her bad," said Audley Malcolm. "Some of these things I didn't know until after my wife put him out."

Curtis is described as being 5-foot-7 and weighing 170 pounds.
