Woman, 88, suffers wrist fractures after stranger shoves her to the ground: NYPD

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn – An 88-year-old was hospitalized after a random woman shoved her on a Brooklyn street and ran away, police said.

The woman, 88, was standing in front of Esther’s Deli at 3664 Nostrand Ave. last Friday, around 5 p.m., when an unidentified female pushed her from behind, causing the victim to fall to ground. The cowardly attacker then fled to parts unknown.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with fractured wrists but is in stable condition. There were no other injuries as a result.

Police say the assailant was seen with a dark-colored ponytail, glasses and wearing a gray hat, white T-shirt, gray sweatshirt, beige sweater and brown work boots.
