Joe Jonas, DNCE hold surprise concert outside Penn Station

MIDTOWN, Manhattan — Joe Jonas announced a surprise pop-up concert happening Thursday night outside Penn Station.

The ex-member of the Jonas Brothers gave just 45 minutes notice that his new band DNCE would be performing a free, impromptu show at 6 p.m. at near Herald Square, at 33rd Street and 7th Avenue.

DNCE — for which Jonas is the lead singer — is set to release its debut album Friday. The group is known for its hit songs “Cake by the Ocean” and “Toothbrush.”
