Man steals, rides off with woman’s wheelchair in Brooklyn: NYPD

GRAVESEND, Brooklyn — Police are looking for a bandit who hopped into a woman's motorized wheelchair and rode away in Brooklyn.

The robbery happened last Saturday about 3:35 p.m., police said. A 36-year-old woman left her motorized wheelchair near 86th Street and West 12th Street  in Gravesend where the thief allegedly took it and fled.

The thief was seen on surveillance in the wheelchair riding away.
