WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn — Police have arrested one man and are looking for a second suspect in a shootout over the weekend outside a Brooklyn bar.
Three people were wounded after a dispute between four people inside Don Pedro spilled out onto Manhattan Avenue, the street in front of the Williamsburg bar, NYPD said.
Two of the men involved pulled out firearms in the shooting early Monday morning and three of the people in the dispute were shot — a 37-year-old man, a 27-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. The victims, who all suffered leg injuries, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition, police say.
Police say one of the people in the gunfight was uninjured and fled southbound on Manhattan Avenue. The NYPD have surveillance video captured of the suspect, who was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt.
One of the victims, 37-year-old Elisha Dowling of Albany, had a loaded gun that was fired in the shootout and was arrested. Police have charged Dowling with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
