Man, 59, struck by hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn: NYPD

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn — Police on Monday said they were searching for the hit-and-run driver who mowed over a 59-year-old man, leaving him injured.

The victim was struck around 5:15 p.m. Sunday while walking near Macon Street and Ralph Avenue, police said.

The area appears to be occupied by residences and small business, according to Google Maps.

The 59-year-old was transported to Kings County Hospital and listed in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

A description of the driver and vehicle were not available.
