4-month-old baby dies in the Bronx: NYPD

THROGS NECK, the Bronx — A 4-month-old baby with no visible signs of trauma has died at a Bronx hospital, police said Friday.

Police responded to a report of an unresponsive male inside a home near Prentiss and Harding avenues in Throgs Neck around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the NYPD said.

The baby had no visible signs of trauma at the time and EMS was called, police said.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police identified the child as Cameron Willingham, a 4-month-old from the Middletown-Pelham Bay area of the Bronx.

The Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death.
