Hundreds of parents in New York are waking up, afraid that they cannot afford to feed their families for the day.

The largest food pantry in Brooklyn is reaching out, to make sure everyone gets a meal.

The Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger is a unique food pantry because it operates more like a supermarket.

Instead of receiving a pre-packaged meal. You walk through the aisles with a shopping cart, and select your own food, based on your family’s preferences.

The Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger is having a “mock shop” event Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. to raise money for the holiday season.
