Yenson Reyes, 35, was handcuffed by police Monday after his most recent attack over the weekend. Located a few blocks from his Seaman Avenue apartment, he is accused of gaining entry into a 26-year-old woman's home on West 213th Street late Sunday by climbing through her kitchen window. Reyes, armed with a screw driver, tied the victim's hands up during the ordeal, sexually assaulted her and took off with an undetermined amount of cash and electronics, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Detectives believe the suspect walked right passed them and PIX11's crew during the investigation on West 213th Street Monday afternoon. Investigators used PIX11 video footage (watch below) as part of their evidence, in an effort to identify Reyes. NYPD members assigned to the case are all but certain he left the scene of the crime hours after returning. Police wouldn't discuss any further details.

He is being charged in this case with robbery, burglary, criminal sex act and unlawful imprisonment, according to police.

Police said Reyes was charged with other crimes after NYPD reviewed similar incidents in the vicinity last month.

On October 6, he woke up a girl, 17, and her mother, 66, while allegedly burglarizing their West 212th Street apartment. While inside the home, he brandished a knife and took electronics before forcibly touching the teen and escaping through a bathroom window, according to the NYPD. Reyes faces robbery, burglary, sex abuse, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon charges, police said.

Reyes was additionally charged with robberies of two taxi drivers in October; one of them involved a gun.

The NYPD said he has been arrested 19 times, including drug use, grand larceny and trespassing. Reyes also has a criminal past in Florida, records show.
