Rosanna Garcia suffered the ultimate loss.

Her 2-year-old daughter Vida died two months ago of a neurological disease. She was a twin.

"Going through all this and the death of your daughter, planning a funeral it's so painful," Garcia said.

While arranging her daughter's funeral, she ordered a tombstone. Garcia alleges she gave a Flushing company called Sprung Monument $1,000 cash as a deposit.

She says they couldn't workout size and cost, but hadn't received a refund. She wants her money back.

PIX11 News reached out to the company.

Its owner said the Garcia family signed a contract and Sprung Monument has been in business for 90 years.

Due to the sensitivity of this case, they are making an exception and will give Garcia her deposit back in full.
