KINGSBRIDGE, The Bronx — Police arrested the man who allegedly stole a patrol car and crashed it in the Bronx over the weekend.

Rubin Fernandez, 31, was arrested Tuesday. Fernandez is accused of hopping into a NYPD police cruiser parked at the 50th Precinct station on Kingsbridge Avenue early Sunday morning and driving off.

He drove the car near Fordham Road and Sedgwick Avenue and crashed into four parked cars, police said. He then fled the area.

Fernandez has been charged with grand larceny, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, according to police.
