Beyonce backup dancer Shirlene Quigley safely located, at medical facility

NORTH BERGEN, N.J. — Police say they have safely located missing dancer Shirlene Quigley.

North Bergen Police posted to Instagram that Quigley, 32, was found "safe and at a medical facility" on Tuesday.

Quigley, a backup dancer for Beyonce, was last seen at 1 a.m., Sunday at Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Her phone was found in a retail store in Manhattan. Her family says shortly after her vehicle was found, her Facebook page was deactivated.

Singer Rihanna posted a heartfelt Instagram video after learning Quigley was missing.

"This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her!" Rihanna wrote as a caption.

Quigley is a resident of North Bergen but teaches dance in New York City.

She has performed all over the world with artists such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Missy Elliott and Chris Brown.

Elliott took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to thank people for their prayers.

Quigley's location has not been disclosed at this time.

Detectives have been in contact with Quigley's father, who is on his way from Los Angeles to reunite with his daughter.

North Bergen Police thanked the NYPD for their cooperation in the investigation.
