Gunman on wheelchair, accomplice sought in killing of man at Mott Haven Houses

MOTT HAVEN, the Bronx – Police are looking for two men wanted in connection with the killing of a 28-year-old man who was found dead with gunshot wounds in back of the Mott Haven Houses early Sunday.

Kevin Thomas, 28, was found by police in the rear of the Bronx housing complex around 2 a.m. Sunday, according to the NYPD. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police have no arrests at this time but have released descriptions and photos of two individuals involved with the deadly shooting.

The gunman was wearing glasses and a black jacket. Police said he was sitting on a wheelchair when he fired at the victim numerous times.

The other man was last seen wearing a brown jacket and black baseball hat, police said.
