OLINVILLE, the Bronx — A 15-year-old girl was found injured near Gun Hill Road in the Olinville section of the Bronx Monday morning.

It was about 10 a.m. when a passerby found the girl severely beaten near the Gun Hill Road exit ramp off the Bronx River Parkway, police sources told PIX11.

The girl's teeth had been knocked out and she had suffered bruises to her head. Her pants had been pulled down and she could possibly have a broken pelvis, according to police sources.

The girl told police she exited a No. 2 train and remembered waking up on the ground in a wooded area, likely Bronx River Park, with injuries.

There are inconsistencies in the timeline, investigators said, but they are taking the case seriously. Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce called it "very troubling."
