Mexican model found at hospital a week after going missing

NEW YORK — A model from Mexico who was reportedly last seen Sunday, Oct. 16 has been found, police said.

Geraldine Mendez-Victoria, 20, was located Sunday at Bellevue Hospital and reunited with her family, according to police.

She was last seen a week ago on the 300 block of Eldert Street in Bushwick, police said.

Mendez is a Mexican citizen and moved to New York City as part of her modeling career, her mom told the Daily News. She first came to the city in August to appear in a few fashion shows, her mom said.

Her father came to the city Friday to file a missing persons report, as reported by the Daily News.
