NORTH MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. — A man has been arrested for public lewdness after he approached a woman in a Massapequa park and spooked her.

Andrew Parrucci, 57, of Amityville, allegedly approached the woman while she was walking in the Massapequa Preserve Wednesday around noon, police said.

The woman told police Parrucci “aggressively” walked toward her without any clothing on. She became alarmed upon seeing him.

It was then that another woman rode by on a bicycle, prompting Parrucci to run into a wooded area and disappear, police said.

The first woman Parrucci approached then called police.

Parrucci was arrested after an investigation and is expected to be arraigned Saturday.
