Dozens of students hurt in double school bus crash on Palisades Parkway

NEW CITY, N.Y. — Dozens of students are being taken to a hospital after two school buses collided on the Palisades Interstate Parkway Monday afternoon, according to New York State Police.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the parkway at exit 11 and involved two school buses from Northern Valley Regional High School.

Between 40 and 60 students were taken to the hospital via ambulances and other school buses, state police said. All their injuries are said to be minor.
