CLAREMONT VILLAGE, the Bronx — The death of an 8-month old boy in the Bronx was deemed a homicide nearly a year after he was killed, police said Friday.

Officials found Manson Simms unconscious and unresponsive on Oct. 24 last year after his mother called for an ambulance, police said. The baby was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, but he didn’t make it.

The Medical Examiner’s Office discovered abusive trauma to the baby’s head, officials said. No arrests have been made.
