Here’s how you can apply for an $833-per-month apartment in this NYC luxury building

MURRAY HILL, Manhattan -- Want to live in a luxury Manhattan building and pay cheap rent? You have until Friday to apply for one of the apartments in the towers at 626 First Ave.

The 49-floor American Cooper buildings, which are being developed by JDS Development, is located on the East River and connected by a skybridge encompassing a suspended pool.

If that isn't enough, residents can enjoy other amazing amenities including a gym, a lap pool and spa, a children’s playroom, a lounge, in-unit washers and dryers, a rooftop pool and personal storage.

  • Studios are available for $833 per month to single tenants making between $29,898 and $38,100 per year.
  • One-bedroom apartments are available for $895 per month. Those eligible for these unit are single tenants making between $32,058 and $38,100 per year and two-person households making between $32,058 and $43,500.
  • Two-bedrooms are available for $1,082 to two tenants making between $38,503 and $43,500, three tenants with an income between $38,503 and $48,960, and families of four with an income between $38,503 and $54,360.
  • Three-bedroom apartments are available at $1,247 per month to households of three making between $44,606 and $48,960, households of four making between $44,606 and $54,360, households of five making between $44,606 and $58,740, and households of six making between $44,606 and $63,060.

Ready to move in? Make sure you apply this week. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 14. Late applications will not be considered.
