‘Tranny Granny’ costume pulled from online stores

NEW YORK — It's almost Halloween and inappropriate costumes are hitting the shelves.

Walmart and Amazon have already pulled the "Tranny Granny" costume from their website.

The costume's description reads: "All the guys will be dressing up as superheroes and princes but you'll stand out among the rest in this hilarious Granny men's costume!"

Though the two sites pulled the costume which was being sold from third party vendor, Rasta Imposta, other sites like Spirit Halloween and even Target are still selling it under a different moniker.

Walmart released a statement saying in part that it is appalled the seller put it on the site to begin with.
