5 minors, 3 adults injured in Bronx expressway crash involving bus: FDNY

THE BRONX — Five minors and three adults were injured during a crash involving a bus and vehicle on the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx on Wednesday, FDNY said.

Reports of a crash near exit 6A were made to FDNY at 12:59 p.m., firefighters said.

A bus and vehicle were involved, and a total of eight patients were transported from the area.

Five "pediatric" and three adult patients are being treated, FDNY said. Seven sustained minor injuries and one was in serious but stable condition.

All injuries are considered non-life threatening, according to FDNY.
