MANHASSET, N.Y. — Several lanes have reopened on the Long Island Expressway at exit 33 near Community Drive in Manhasset after a tractor trailer overturned, according to the Nassau County Public Information Office.

The tractor trailer flipped over around 9:30 a.m. and fuel was spilled onto the expressway.

Two other vehicles were involved.

Minor injuries have been reported but a final number is not yet clear according to the Nassau County Public Information Office.

A nearby traffic camera along the LIE shows emergency workers on the scene. Cleanup is underway.

All eastbound lanes were closed for a period of time.

By 2 p.m., only the left and HOV lane remained closed.

Drivers should seek alternate routes as traffic is still heavy on the expressway.
