HARLEM, Manhattan – Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to the fatal daytime shooting of a 21-year-old man in Harlem last Friday.
Koron Bailey, 30, allegedly approached the victim from behind in front of 230 W. 141 St. and fired several shots at him at around 1:50 p.m Friday, according to the NYPD. When the vicim ducked to the ground, Bailey allegedly walked over and shot him once in the head, police said.
Bailey then fled on a skateboard heading eastbound on 141st Street, police said.
Police describe Bailey as having brown eyes and black hair in dreadlocks at the time of the shooting. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds.
The NYPD released two photos of Bailey: one of him with dreadlocks and a beard and another with him in shorter hair and clean shaven.
