Police search for Bronx alleged grocery store robber

SOUNDVIEW, The Bronx — Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Bronx grocery store.

The suspect entered the Neymar Candy Grocery Store located at 1175 Vyse Ave., in the Soundview section of the borough around 2:30 p.m., Sept. 19.

Police say the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. The employee complied and gave the suspect approximately $170.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Police released surveillance video showing the suspect at the cash register.
