MIDTOWN, Manhattan -- A new Port Authority facility and complex is still years away from being built.

But finalists in a competition to design the new building -- which would extend from 8th Avenue and 42nd Street to the Hudson River -- shared their plans and ideas at a Port Authority Board meeting Thursday.

At the meeting, board members agreed to work with neighbors, riders and elected leaders before moving forward with any plans.
